Four-point angular contact ball bearings feature a special dual-half-inner-ring design, enabling them to withstand radial loads and bidirectional axial loads, with a single bearing set providing bidirectional positioning. They have a compact footprint and are easier to install than two sets of single-row angular contact bearings. They offer good maximum rotational speeds but lack self-aligning capability. They are commonly used in gearboxes, screw compressors, slewing rings, pumps and valves, and other applications where bidirectional axial loads must be supported and installation space is limited.
